ONE OF A KIND SHOW JEEP!!!  1975 Jeep CJ-5, 304 V8, 3 speed.

You won’t find another one like it!  Completely restored from the ground up.  ALL bearings and seals were replaced with new ones.  The frame was power washed, treated for rust and coated with PPG spray on bumper black.  New steel tub, passenger side fender, driver’s side fender, hood and tailgate.  The original roll bar, grill, dash and steering column were rebuilt.  There was nothing on this Jeep that was ignored or half done.  The laced up roll bar padding was modeled after the factory installed from 1975.  I upgraded the tachometer with an Auto Meter, but kept in the same factory installed location.  I didn’t want to take away from the “straight from the factory” look.  However, I did want it to look like someone purchased it new off the lot and then upgraded it with a suspension lift and larger rims and tires.  I installed a 4 inch suspension lift and a dual steering stabilizer by Trail Master Suspension.  A set of greaseable ½” lift shackles were installed to give a total of 4 ½” of suspension lift.  The tires are 33x12.50x15 Super Swamper Thornbirds by Interco.  The wheels are 15 inch aluminum Mickey Thompson Classic II’s.  The seats are made by Kustom Fit Seating and are the low back model for the driver and passenger sides.  The rear seat is a tumble fold made by Kustom Fit as well.  The inside and underneath of the tub was Rhino lined as well as underneath both front fenders and the inside of the tailgate.  A set of Prothane body mounts stabilize the body and will last unlike the old rubber type.  A stainless steel nut, washer and bolt set was used for most of the body fasteners.  I replaced the original 4 wheel drum brakes with 4 wheel disc brakes.  The rear disc brakes are made by Stainless Steel Brakes and the front disc brake system was built by using aftermarket Jeep replacement parts.  I even replaced the old lock in hubs with new Warns.  All gauges were replaced with new ones.  The drive shafts are original but every U-Joint is new.  The factory fuel gauge works, but I didn’t wire up the factory temperature gauge as I used an aftermarket that you can see in the pictures.  I never liked the factory AMC temp gauge, but left it there for the factory look.  After doing research about the Renegade decals I decided to go with the ‘74-75 ½ considering the Jeep was manufactured in January of 1975.  The paint is 1975 Renegade Orange, but it is not the original color.  The original color was red.  That is the only code that doesn’t match on the VIN number.  It has the original engine, transmission, transfer case and axles.  I have the factory VIN plate but have not yet installed it on the firewall.  The rear seat belts, firewall-to-grill support rods, windshield wiper motor, linkage and wipers need to be installed.  I have all of these parts and they are included.  The wiper motor cover is primed but needs to be painted.  The heater unit needs to be rebuilt and is not mounted underneath the dash.  Most of this Jeep was rebuilt using new parts with the rest being rebuilt.  It has a little over 700 miles on it after being restored.  It has never seen the rain or mud and only driven on sunny days.  Listed below are details about the engine, transmission, transfer case, axles and exhaust.

ENGINE:  Original 304 block.  Bored .40 over.  Purchased a set of used heads (old ones were cracked).  Edelbrock AMC Performance intake and 600 CFM Edelbrock carb w/ electric choke.  MSD High Performance Coil Blaster 2, MSD wire set and MSD AMC Ready-To-Run Distributor.  Black Poly engine mounts.

TRANSMISSION:  Original Borg Warner T-15, 3 speed.  Professionally rebuilt by Man-Trans, LLC out of Tallahassee, Florida.

TRANSFER CASE:  Dana 20.  Replaced all seals and bearings.  Works well and has a great low range.

FRONT AXLE:  Dana 30.  Replaced all seals and bearings.

REAR AXLE:  Dana 44.  Replaced all seals and bearings.

EXHAUST:  Headman headers both wrapped in an exhaust wrap. Turn out pipes wrapped with black exhaust tape.

Remember, MOST of this Jeep is practically new.  IF not new, then it was rebuilt.  The look, sound and power of this CJ-5 is amazing!  The pictures look awesome but, it really needs to be seen in person to appreciate it.
